ABOUT

Who I am

I'm retired from the working world, and now spend my days with all the things that interest me and make me happy. That includes attempting to write a novel, which is taking much longer than I would like, but in my defense I have many things I spend my time on and must prioritize.

I am also digging into my Marlow family roots, which includes my mothers (Leona Mae (Mahan) Marlow) lineage. Unfortunately, her mother Jane Vivian (Strayer) was adopted so I can only trace her father, Ernest Rowland Mahan's family.

I am the mother of one son, Gary who has been disabled throughout his life due to a non-operable brain tumor. Surgeries have been a way of life for him to relieve pressure, by the use of shunt drainage tubes.

I am the second of six children born to Gerald E. and Leona M. Marlow. We lived in a few states growing up which include Indiana, Missouri and Colorado.
